Discover Deer Valley Dining
Catering for one of the premium level ski resorts in the Wasatch region, Deer Valley restaurants are renowned for their quality. This is true of both service and food, as they cater for a more discerning palette, used to the delights of fine dining, and exclusivity. Such an approach settles well with the upmarket focus of the resort, offering such luxury service as ski valets and shopping boutiques.
Within the Deer Valley resort itself, there is a list of three fine dining restaurants that customers can choose from. First to be considered is the Mariposa which has come in for some excellent critical reviews. It is also proud to boast an impressive amount of awards over the years. Regarded as one of the best resort restaurants anywhere across the world, it is passionate to keep that reputation. Diners can choose to enjoy dishes from classical menus, or a more contemporary take on things. For the more adventurous diner, there is the showcase tasting menu available which never fails to impress.
No fine dining collection would be complete without a seafood representative in the stable. And Deer Valley resorts Seafood Buffet delivers here. With a focus on presenting diners with only the best quality food available, they are committed to sourcing sustainable stocks wherever possible. Offering a more relaxed atmosphere than some fine dining restaurants afford, guests from the local area vote this as one of their favorite restaurants.
The trio of restaurants is completed with the well named, Fireside Dining. Offering a unique twist on the dining experience, customers can select from a wide range of dishes. Moving from one fireplace to the next, each course is offered up in style. From the first fireplace with the appetizers, through the second and third offering Swiss inspired mains, and on to the fourth with the tempting desserts.
Whilst the restaurants within the resort are popular, and worthy of attention, it is wise not to ignore other restaurants in the surrounding area.
An immensely popular restaurant, that itself has won many plaudits and awards is the Goldener Hirsch Inn. Here, diners can expect to receive an excellent service alongside the American and European inspired dishes. Unlike the resort restaurants, the Goldener Hirsch is open year round, though reservations are recommended at all times.
Yet another fine dining experience can be enjoyed at The Gliterand. Offering a regional take on the pinnacle of cuisine, innovations and modernizations to classical dishes are clearly the concept here. Deer Valley restaurants are not all about fine dining however. The best exponent of the more traditional and homely offerings can be enjoyed at the Stew Pot. With traditional dishes and comforting soups, all homemade with evident care and passion, this is popular throughout the year, ski time or sun.
Whatever your reason for visiting Deer Valley, you are sure of a great experience, which will only be complemented by the good food on offer. Whether you are looking for a romantic venue, or something with a bit of life to relax in, it is here and waiting.
