Eczema And Diet Go Hand In Hand
Eczema is a chronic and quite common skin condition that affects people all around the world. The term eczema refers to an inflammatory condition of the skin, in which the main symptoms are red cracked skin and itching. Eczema usually begins in early childhood but can also develop at other times in a person’s life, for instance during pregnancy for a woman. It’s a chronic condition which means that once you develop it, you will usually have it for life.
Certain triggers can flare up eczema and intensify it further. Humidity and temperature can irritate it along with environmental allergens. Along with these triggers diet also plays a very big part in the disease. A lot of sugary and fatty foods can inflame and trigger it so its very important for people to have a healthy diet with a lot of fresh fruit and vegetables. Raw food is the key and extremely good in controlling eczema as well as whole grain healthy goods.
Flax bread and sesame seeds are great snack foods and full of essential fatty acids. Flax bread, sesame seeds, soybean oil, wheat germ oil, salmon and mackerel are all great examples of the foods you should be eating on a regular basis.
By avoiding foods that are high in fat and high in sugar the individual will benefit. A lot of raw foods and wholegrain foods are excellent choice. Fresh fruit and vegetables along with fresh fish is high among the foods list that should be consumed to help keep eczema at bay.
